Accessibility & Standards

  • APCA contrast score calculation (Lc)
  • APCA Silver Beta contrast validation support
  • APCA Typographic Precision (Beta): Introducing a dynamic font analysis engine. The calculator measures real-world font geometry—including x-height and horizontal density—to provide tailored size recommendations aligned with APCA standards (calibrated against the Barlow reference).
  • Revision of WCAG accessibility constants
  • Review of calculation with opacity for a more accurate result

Advanced Color Spaces

  • Added LAB, OKLab, LCH and OKLCH color spaces
  • All color spaces are now available in the free version

  • Full Access Trial: After free account creation, new users can now activate a 7-day trial to test premium features without a credit card.
  • Trial includes all advanced calculation and simulation engines (Cloud-based features like palette saving and file exports remain reserved for subscribers).
  • Trial status indicator added to the interface header.

Sharing & UX Improvements

  • QR code: instant palette color check on mobile
  • CSS export simplified: clipboard instead of file download
  • The hsla alias has been replaced by its modern notation hsl
  • Page title now includes the current palette name

Performance Improvements

  • Images and Videos: significant performance improvements, especially in contrast calculation (faster processing)
